CONTROVERSY: Vijay film's heroine trolled by Ajith's fans
An actress who made hearts swoon during the 1990s, Isha Koppikar starred opposite Arvind Swamy in En Swasa Kaatre, Vijay's Nenjinile, Vijayakanth’s Narasimha and in a prominent role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Don to name a few.
Now, the actress is all set to make a comeback to Tamil cinema in the upcoming Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh sci-fi film, SK 14, being directed by Indru Netru Naalai fame R. Ravikumar under RD Raja’s 24AM Studios banner featuring music by Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman.
Meanwhile, Isha Koppikar has been in the news of late after she in an interview to a popular daily went on to speak about several popular Tamil film stars including saying her SK 14 co-star Sivakarthikeyan reminded her of ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth not because the Mr. Local actor was deliberately trying to emulate ‘Thalaivar’ while adding it could be due to his hairstyle, his face, the look in his eyes or the colour.
That said, Isha Koppikar has landed in hot water now after she went on to add in the same interview saying she is not aware if 'Thala’ Ajith is still working in films before concluding that she used to be fond of the Thala 59 actor in her early days.
Ajith fans have since not been happy with Isha Koppikar's statements by creating a furore online advising the actress to learn more about Tamil cinema.
