The upcoming movie Oru Oorla, directed by KS Vasantha Kumar of Machi fame, is a village-based movie. This project starring Neha Patil and Venkatesh (the actor who played Priyamani's maternal uncle's role in Paruthiveeran) in the lead roles, also has Annapoorni, Indrajith, Naan Kadavul Murali and many others as part of its cast. After watching the movie, maestro Ilaiyaraaja has consented to score the music for this film. It is said that there will be five songs in Oru Oorla, composed by the Isaignani. With cinematography by DS Vasan (former assistant of Vijay Milton) and Arul Vincent (former assistant of PC Sreeram), this movie has been produced by Velusamy.
