Bigg Boss made Oviya extremely famous and known than any other movies she had acted in. Her open and down to earth attitude was one of the important reasons that made her so popular. She has at least half a dozen movies to play in the next few months including a cameo in Vishnu Vishal’s Kathanayagan.

The actress has received yet another offer as confirmed by director Santhosh. The filmmaker is looking forward to his release Hara Hara Mahadevaki and wants Oviya to act in his next movie which is an adult comedy. She did very glamorous roles in the past especially in Sundar C's Kalakalapu and the new movie may demand the same which should make her fans happy.
