It seems Bollywood film makers are keen on remaking South Indian films after successful remakes of Ghajini, Siruthai and Pokkiri to name a few. Now, one of Bollywood's leading producers Boney Kapoor has acquired the Hindi remake rights of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's blockbuster film Ghilli. Directed by Dharani, the film featured Trisha as the female lead and Prakashraj as the antagonist. The Hindi version will have Boney Kapoor's son Arjun playing the lead and is expected to be helmed by the duo of Abbas-Mastan.
