After a long gap of 22 years, ace actor Kamal Haasan and director Shankar have reunited for the sequel of one of the most anticipated films of 2019, Indian 2. Director Shankar revealed super fascinating details last week of this massive project on his official Twitter handle.

The project went on floors today with a small ritual conducted with the presence of the team and it was unveiled that actress Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in to play the female lead and it is also touted that actor Siddharth is playing a role in the film.

The makers have been releasing new posters of Senapathi in his alluring attire keeping the audience on their toes all week. The posters look ravishing and fresh but, there is also a similar pattern that can be noticed in these posters. In all the 4 posters, it can be noted that the left side of Kamal Haasan's face remains unshown to the audience which does not seem like a coincidence and it makes one wonder why. It seems like a conscious effort by the team to keep the left eye of Senapathi's character unshown which can probably mean that the character has an unknown or unseen face which will be revealed in this sequel.

Director Shankar is known for creating magic on screen and he constantly gives us more than what is expected but, the character Senapathi is definitely not new to us and the character arch of Senapathi's was well established in Indian 1 itself. The motives and the personality of the character were well structured and displayed in Indian 1 hence the audience are aware of what they can expect from the sequel. These new posters make us wonder if we will see an extended version of the original character or a new side of the character will be established in this sequel.

It is also to be noted that in every poster, it was mentioned that focus will begin from today indicating that the project is set to start rolling today. It is the first time the word focus has been used in such an aspect and similarly the word loaded was used in Rajinikanth's 2.0 to indicate the same. Does the word focus have something to do with the left eye of the character being hidden from the audience?

One of the posters reveals the character sitting in front of a laptop with a stack of newspapers pilled up beside him. The old Senapathi that we know, was extremely old fashioned who followed his traditional roots very strongly. Looks like this character has also moved along with the generation and we need to wait to see what else has changed in him!

Sounds super exciting already doesn't it?
