Harish Kalyan was launched into Tamil cinema with Sindhu Samaveli in the year 2010, and he was last seen in Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raaniyum. He is currently busy with filming for Kasada Thapara and Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale.

Earlier it was reported that Bollywood actress Rhea Chakrabory was roped in to play the female lead in Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale, thus making her Kollywood debut. But director Sanjay Bharathi, in a recent interaction with a leading daily, has revealed that Rhea has been replaced by Digangana Suryavanshi.

Reasoning to Rhea Chakrabory's inability to provide continuous dates  for the movie, Rhea and Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale crew parted ways. Apparently she and Reba Monica John were supposed to join the crew in June but due to the dates clash Rhea had to let go of the movie.

Interestingly, Digangana Suryavanshi was roped into the movie after Sanjay had watched her recent Telugu movie, Hippi's trailer. Seemingly, Digangana was interested in her characterization when the director approached her for a narration. This movie will mark her Kollywood debut.

The shooting of the movie will soon begin at Chennai, this week. A part of a film was already shot with Harish Kalyan and the rest of the cast, a couple of months ago.
