When the name Rana is uttered, the immediate reference will be to his role as Bhallala Deva in Baahubali.

The actor is right now busy with Prabhu Solomon's Haathi Mere Saathi, a movie on elephant conservation which is being shot in Thailand.

This is a tribute to Rajesh Khanna who played the lead in the movie of the same name in 1971. Prabhu Solomon earlier worked with elephants in Kumki which was a perfect debut for Vikram Prabhu.

Rana Daggubati has now revealed the first look of the movie where he is seen with an elephant in a rugged look with a stick and his transformation is mindblowing. He plays Bandev in this movie and his look reveals that he is playing the role of a old man. The poster looks poetic as we see Rana standing in between the tusks of the elephant.

Why Prabhu Solomon chose Rana for this trilingual is quiet easy to guess as he earlier mentioned in Kumki that he was looking for a tall actor as he should match the height of the elephant and to work with a director like Prabhu Solomon who is a perfectionist, Rana is the perfect choice indeed.

We wish a great experience to the team filming Haathi Mere Saathi.
