Ghatikudu: Platinum disc celebrations
Versatile and successful actor Suriya's Ghatikudu, the Telugu version of his upcoming Tamil film Aadhavan being directed by K.S. Ravikumar with Nayantara as the heroine, celebrated its Platinum disc function at Taj Banjara on October 4.
During the event, Suriya and producer Chandana Ramesh announced Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 3 lakh each as their contribution to AP flood victims. Sanam Naga Ashok Kumar, Udayanidhi Stalin, Shanmukha Sastry, V.V. Vinayak, Kalyani, Kumar Babu, Chaitanya Raju, director K.S. Ravikumar and others took part in the function.
Suriya said: "I am getting overwhelming response whenever I visit Hyderabad. I feel happy to have worked with K.S. Ravikumar. Udayanidhi Maran was�my junior in college. All my films dubbed in Telugu are doing exceedingly well and Ghatikudu is a family-subjected film with all commercial elements on the lines of my regular films."
