Much has been stated about the shelved version of Arjun Reddy’s first remake in Tamil titled Varma with director Bala which has now had a shake-up in the cast and is all set to reboot with the title Adithya Varma. The film has Dhruv Vikram as the male lead role while Bollywood actress Banita Sindhu will be playing the female lead. This project has been in the limelight for quite a significant time mainly for three reasons. The film marks as Dhruv Vikram, son of Chiyaan Vikram's debut film, the nature of the Telugu version of the film, Arjun Reddy which turned out to be a massive blockbuster and for the later following controversial issues of Varma. 

Ever since the project was once again announced by the production house, the talk in town has been all about the cast and all eyes are on who will be playing the various prominent roles of Arjun Reddy. It is known that Priya Anand and Anbu Thaasan of Kolamavu Kokila fame will also be playing a crucial role in the film apart from that, we now have another rousing update regarding the cast. Sources close to us suggest that popular filmmaker Gautham Menon will be playing the role of Dhruv's father in the film.



When you recall, the father character in Arjun Reddy was seen to be quite powerful and conventional and it sure will be perfect to see GVM ace the role. GVM has lately been making a lot of screen appearances and it surely has been a visual treat to watch him on the screens! Has the excitement settled in you yet?
