Having received lots of criticisms on the diversity of the jury members, The Academy has decided to put a rest to it. The Academy Awards is a widely celebrated event, hosted by Hollywood film industry which has fans following keenly, worldwide. The world woke up to the announcement of the jury members and the recent member to join this elite jury club is Tamil cinema's Srinivas Mohan. He has been the visual effects supervisor of hugely bankrolled movies like Shankar's Enthiran,  I, 2.0 and SS Rajamouli's epic fantasy, Baahubali series.

Srinivasa Mohan, who has been predominantly working in Tamil and Telugu film industries, will be a part of the jury in the visual effects category. Beginning his career as a Digital Compositor in the films like Indian, Jeans etc, Srinivas Mohan has bagged National awards for the Hindi film Magic Magic 3D, Sivaji and Enthiran in Tamil and Baahubali: The beginning. He is also the founder and CEO of the Indian Artists Computer Graphics.

Apart from Srinivas Mohan, filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akthar and Ritesh Batra, VFX artist Sherry Bharda and actor Anupam Kher are also invited to be the jury.
