She became one of the most talked about people in Tamil Nadu after her participation in the reality TV show, Enga Veetu Mapillai, as one of the girls trying to woo actor Arya in the hopes of getting married to him.


Although the final outcome of the show went on to become quite controversial, one individual stood out among all and that is none other than the current sensation, Abarnathi.


Having said that, Abarnathi’s participation in Enga Veetu Mapillai has now brought her good fortune as she has officially been cast as the female lead opposite G. V. Prakash Kumar in acclaimed filmmaker, Vasanthabalan’s next.


To be produced under the Krikes Cine Creations banner, this upcoming project will begin with a formal pooja tomorrow (May 25) on the outskirts of Chennai.


The untitled film, which will also mark Vasanthabalan’s return after his Kaaviya Thalaivan in 2014, will be his sixth directorial with actress Raadhika Sarathkumar, 'Pasanga' Paandi and 'Baahubali fame Prabhakar set to appear in vital supporting roles.
