Veteran actor Sathyaraj’s daughter, Divya Sathyaraj, has earned the distinction of being a reputed nutritionist in Chennai and has spearheaded several goodwill causes by setting up numerous vitamin awareness camps for Tamil people living in refugee camps over the years. Divya Sathyaraj, who serves as an ambassador of the non-profit organization, Akshaya Patra, recently revealed in an interview that she has plans to enter politics soon. She stated she wants to lay emphasis on health and nutrition of the people and revealed she has to be a part of the system to bring about a change in it, which is the main reason for her decision to enter politics.
Having served as a therapist, Divya Sathyaraj has begun her own research on government hospitals in Tamil Nadu and has stated that improvements need to be made as there is plenty of scope for big and quick positive results. Being a part of Akshaya Patra, she has often stressed importance for making meals more nourishing and healthy. She has also spoken about making hospitals more hygienic and equipped with all the necessary medicines and materials for treatment while also requesting pharmacies to keep a check on the expiry date before buying the products.
The daughter of actor Sathyaraj's children and elder sister of Sibiraj, Divya Sathyaraj further added saying a framework needs to be set to make improvements to the health sector as people are most productive when they are at their healthy best.
