The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones reached its end with its last episode on May 20. The final season, however, didn't live up to the expectations of the worldwide audience and the majority seemed to be disappointed as the writing looked weak. The series was criticized by the audience for its lesser engaging and not so convincing twists.

GOT was a series that was known for its strong writing and when that went missing in the final season, the result wasn't so positive. But still, the highly impactful performances and the long journey of the series did give goosebumps and an emotional feeling to the viewers when it ended. Many people were sharing their emotional feelings on their social media space, discussing about what they liked and what they didn't.

We had also seen actors like Dhanush, Trisha, and others, sharing their emotional feeling about the much loved series. The latest to join this list is maverick filmmaker S.S.Rajamouli. He took to his Twitter space to share his views on GOT. He stated that it was an emotional feeling to see the series end, despite being disappointed with the final season. He was all praise for the deeply written characters that made so much difference to the scenes.

He tweeted, "Good bye @GameOfThrones..😢 What a journey it has been..For ten years you made our emotions rise and fall in an emotional roller coaster ride.. The impression you've made on art of story telling will be difficult to emulate for years to come. The characters whether dead are alive, are etched deeply into our memories. Thank you..🙏🏼 Yes the #GoTS8 was disappointing, But I guess you were hinting us from the begining...😂😂#GameOfThrones "
