Filmmaker Bala is at present working on the post-production of his upcoming action drama, Naachiyar.
The film stars GV Prakash and Jyothika in Naachiyar with ‘Maestro’ Ilaiyaraaja for the music under the EON Studios banner.
In the midst of this, reports have surfaced over the past few days stating the National Award-winning filmmaker has roped in Baahubali star Rana Daggubati for a period film.
It is said Bala would begin filming on this project once he wraps up Varma, the Arjun Reddy remake, which will launch actor Vikram’s son, Dhruv in the Tamil film industry.
Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati is currently working on projects namely Madai Thiranthu and Haathi Mere Saathi.
