It has been nearly two years since we’ve gotten to see a film from National Award-winning filmmaker Bala.
His last film was Tharai Thappattai starring Sasikumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
Since then, Bala had been busy with his Naachiyaar, which recently was certified U/A by the CBFC.
Jointly produced under Bala’s B Studios and Eon Studios banner, Naachiyar has Jyothika and GV Prakash in lead roles with music by ‘Maestro’ Ilaiyaraaja.
Meanwhile, Naachiyaar which was initially being planned for a February 9 release has just gone through a change of plans.
It has now been officially confirmed that Naachiyaar will hit screens a week later on February 16 most likely in order to avoid a clash with line of films that will be coming out on February 9.
