Kollywood witnessed one of the biggest decisions ever taken in the history of Indian cinema recently. It was Dhruv Vikram's much-anticipated venture Varmaa which was announced to be dropped. The makers, E4 Entertainment formally announced that they will not release the Bala-directed version of Varmaa. E4 Entertainment had taken the bold decision after watching the first copy, as they were not satisfied with the final outcome. It was announced that the remake of Arjun Reddy will be started again and freshly shot with Dhruv Vikram.

Soon after the decision, some big announcements were made by the makers. The title of the new version is rechristened to be Adithya Varma and has popular Bollywood heroine Banita Sandhu as the lead actress. The remake will be directed by Gireesaya who worked as an associate director in the Telugu original, Arjun Reddy. Reputed cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran has been added to the crew to handle the camera. With the project moving forward at a quick phase, the team is eyeing a June 2019 release.

Everyone had their own say and understanding on the big decision, sharing their views on social media about the happening. However, the center point of the whole controversy,  Dhruv Vikram maintained silence and didn't make any statement regarding this. The star has now shared a story on Instagram that seems to be a response to the ongoing Bala and Varmaa fiasco. Is it an indirect message to all the haters?
