The Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy, Adithya Varma has wrapped up their final schedule, after reshooting the entire film. Only last night, Mukesh Ratilal Mehta, the producer of the film updated a video of Dhruv Vikram, joyfully yelling pack up.
Banita Sandhu, who performed very well in the Varun Dhawan starrer October, will play opposite Dhruv as Preethi. The movie will be directed by Gireesaya, who was the co-director of Arjun Reddy. The movie also stars Priya Anand in a supporting role and Ravi K Chandran is the cinematographer. He also tweeted that they were shooting for 50 days continuously.
Adithya Varma was earlier titled Varma, when it fell into director Bala's lap. The makers weren't content with the results of director Bala's Varma. And due to several other creative differences between the producer and the director the project was dropped. Later it was revived and renamed as Adithya Varma, with Banita Sandhu as Preethi and Gireesaya as the director.
The movie is speculated to be released by July 2019, although the official announcements are yet to be made.
