The multi-talented Dhanush happens to be one of the most lucrative names in Indian cinema considering he holds several roles in the industry starting from being an actor, producer, director and a singer.


The 'Superstar' Rajinikanth starrer, Kaala, releasing on June 7 will be Dhanush’s latest production venture under his Wunderbar Films banner.


On his future projects, the National Award-winning actor recently during a media interaction with the press for his Hollywood debut film, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, at the Cannes Film Festival 2018, revealed plans for his upcoming endeavors.


Dhanush went on to reveal there are four films in the pipeline which he will soon begin work on one by one.


The Pa. Paandi director revealed he would begin work on his second directorial from August.


Post his direction venture, Dhanush will be teaming up with Bollywood director Aanand L. Rai for the second time after their hit, Raanjhanaa.


He then proceeded to reveal his film with Karthik Subbaraj is definitely on and will flag off in succession.


Finally, Dhanush went on to disclose a third part in the VIP (Velai Illa Pattadhari) franchise is definitely on.


As for the popular star’s upcoming films, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir with its Tamil title Vaazhkaiya Thedi Naanum Ponen is most likely expected to hit screens in July in Tamil Nadu. 


In addition, the action gangster drama, Vada Chennai, under Vetrimaaran’s direction too is slated for a release around about the same time.


Furthermore, Maari 2, the sequel to his 2015 hit, Maari, is also a hotly anticipated project among the actor’s fans and can come out this year too.


Last, but not the least, the long-pending Enai Noki Paayum Thota, being directed by Gautham Menon is also a film Dhanush’s fans are waiting with bated breath.
