Actor Dhanush who recently tasted success with Vada Chennai is getting ready for his next big release. His forthcoming movie is Maari 2, a gangster entertainer directed by Balaji Mohan. Alongside Dhanush, the film stars Sai Pallavi, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Krishna, Tovino Thomas and Robo Shankar in supporting roles. For the past few weeks, the release date of the movie was stated as 21st December on social media platforms by various reporters. Now, actor Dhanush has made it official. He has not announced the news, but he has changed his Twitter cover pic to a poster of Maari 2 which says the release date as 21st December. From this, it is clear that Maari 2 will be releasing worldwide on December 21st, for the long Christmas weekend.
