Post the critical acclaim to his latest film, Vada Chennai, Dhanush is set to begin promotions for his next, Maari 2, directed by Balaji Mohan under the Wunderbar Films banner with music Yuvan Shankar Raja. Fans are eagerly waiting for the action comedy to hit screens on December 21, which is the sequel to the smash 2015 blockbuster, Maari.
Meanwhile, it was announced a couple of days back that the Maari 2 first look would be unveiled tomorrow (02.11.2018). That said, it was unclear as to when it would be launched with the time now being revealed as 11AM.

Maari 2 includes a huge star cast apart from Dhanush featuring names like Sai Pallavi, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Vidya Pradeep as the female leads, Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas as the antagonist, Krishna Kulasekaran in a supporting role alongside Robo Shankar and 'Kalloori' Vinoth reprising their roles from the 2015 original.
