Vaagai Sooda Vaa, despite not being a major commercial hit, earned its director Sarkunam a National Award. The latest buzz is that Sarkunam will be joining hands with another National Award winner, Dhanush, for his next movie.
 
Sarkunam has confirmed this in an interview to a newspaper, stating that Dhanush has given him the nod to play the lead, in his next project, and that the producer is yet to be finalised. Sarkunam reveals that this upcoming movie will be similar to his first movie Kalavani, a romantic comedy in a rural setting. While the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised, the movie has been titled Sotta Vazhakutty.
 
Will the two National Award winners, come up with an award winning movie? We'll just have to wait and see!
