One of the most exciting projects under development, Asuran, starring Dhanush under Vetrimaaran’s direction with music by G. V. Prakash Kumar rolled into production on January 26.
Being produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under the V Creations banner, Asuran includes Manju Warrier as the female lead and will most likely release later this year.
With filming already underway, it is now said Ken Karunas, the son of popular actor turned politician Karunas has come on board Asuran.
It must be noted Ken Karunas has previously starred in Azhagu Kutty Chellam while his farher worked with Dhanush in the past in hit films namely Polladhavan and Yaaradi Nee Mohini while also starring in Kodi as the National Award-winning actor’s father in a flashback sequence.
