Devi 2, the sequel of 2016 hit venture Devi is directed by AL Vijay who also directed the first leg of the venture. Stars Prabhudeva and Tamannaah were retained from the first part and the movie also has Nandita Swetha, Kovai Sarala adding more star power. Sam CS is composing music for this film, which has cinematography handled by Ayananka Bose.
The big news about the movie is that the team is ready to enthrall us all with Devi 2 and has officially confirmed that the movie will hit the screen on April 12, 2019.
Speaking about the release of Devi 2, director Vijay says,
"There is always a saying that right thing at the right time and right place. I am happy that it is happening now with Devi 2. Summers are always a season that is meant for family audiences, where they come to theatres and enjoy the entertainers. Precisely, Devi 2 is a film that is made with such a complete motive of catering the taste of family audiences. There are lots of funs, emotions, love, music and entertainment, which I believe are the ingredients that everyone in theatres loves to get relished with.

Tamannaah has done a fabulous job in this film. She was so conscious about the way the audience loved her performance in the first part and she wanted to give the best show than the first one.
