Reports of the Kannada blockbuster Lucia being remade in Tamil have been circling all over the industry. Recently, the pooja of the Tamil remake, which is directed by Prasad Ramar, took place. Siddharth is playing the lead role and Kannada actress Deepa Sannidhi has been zeroed in to romance Siddarth in the as yet untitled remake.
Sruthi Hariharan played the female lead in the original version and her role bagged a lot of appreciation. Deepa will also have ample scope to perform in the remake. This film is produced by C.V. Kumar under the Thirukumaran Entertainments banner.
