The grand BOFTA - Galatta Debut Awards happened on January 27th at the Madras University in Chennai. The event was a big success as debut talents were honored in an effort to give them the much-needed recognition. The event hosted by the favorite duo, Keerthi and Vijay, the award function witnessed an exciting line up of stars including Sivakarthikeyan, Vikram, GV Prakash, Jyothika and many more.
Popular television anchor Jacqueline won the award in the category of the Best-Supporting Actress for the movie Kolamaavu Kokila. Jacqueline played an entertaining role in the Nayanthara starer directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Lyca Productions. Jacqueline received the prestigious award from her longtime friend and popular anchor Divyadarshini.
DD and Jacqueline decorated the stage with their elegant beauty and the combo also stole the show when they danced for the hit song Vayadi Petha Pulla from the movie Kanaa. The dance has become viral on social media.
