A massive film among fans right from the moment of its announcement, Mani Ratnam’s multi-starrer, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’s production has been progressing at brisk pace for a while.


Being jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions with music by A. R. Rahman, the film being dubbed in Telugu under the title Nawab recently had few key sequences shot at Abu Dhabi and then in Dubai.


Notably one of the biggest stars in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is the talented Simbu.


With his role kept under wraps, reports are now coming out stating STR’s pair in the film will be none other than model Dayana Erappa.

Incidentally, Dayanna Erappa will be making her acting debut with Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and it remains to be seen if she indeed plays the lady-love of STR.
