Congress' social media in-charge, Divya Spandana is no longer on Twitter. Along with the handle and the tweet history, everything has gone down. This happened soon after she posted a tweet, congratulating the BJP leader, Nirmala Sitharaman on becoming the first woman finance minister since 1970.
This incident paved the way for speculation on June 2, if she were to quit the party or politics. She is also learnt to have exited the various WhatsApp groups related to Congress. The sources close to the former MP and actress stated that she is appearing to be taking a break.
The Congress part even tried to establish contact with her but she went missing in action. Divya Spandana was not even available for comments. For the Lok Sabha election this year, she has led the Cogress' social media campaign. Even the Congress' media wing refrained from commenting on why Ms. Spandana has deleted her account.
