Suriya who was last seen in Vignesh Shivan’s Thaana Serndha Koottam has two films in the final stages of production. While the shooting of Selvaraghavan’s NGK was wrapped up recently, Suriya is currently busy shooting for the multi-starrer Kaappaan with Mohan Lal, Arya playing prominent roles. This film directed by KV Anand is in its final stages of shooting. Suriya has also signed to do a movie with Sudha Kongara of Irudhi Suttru fame after completing his current projects.
That said, now our sources have confirmed that the Sudha Kongara’s project will begin next month, February 2019. This 38th project of Suriya will be bankrolled by his own production banner 2D Entertainment. Music director turned actor GV Prakash Kumar will be scoring tunes for this untitled movie. This is GV's first association with Suriya while Sathyan Sooriyan who has been working in NGK is likely to be roped in for Sudha Kongara's project as well.
