Director Vasanthabalan’s Kaaviyathalaivan went for censors yesterday and has received a clean U certificate from the Censor Board without having to make any cuts. This film is based on the lives of theatre artists from Madurai.
Oscar winner A.R. Rahman, who has composed the music for the film has researched for about 6 months before he started the project. His songs for the film are already topping the charts.
Kaaviyathalaivan is jointly produced by Y Not studios and Radiance Media. This film features Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhika and Anaika Soti in key roles.
