Towards the end of last week, we were all treated to one of the biggest collaboration announcements in recent times when 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan revealed actor Vikram will be starring in a film to be produced under his Raaj Kamal Films International banner.

To be directed by Thoongavanam fame Rajesh M. Selva, this yet-to-be-titled film also jointly produced with Trident Arts will have Akshara Haasan playing a vital role and Ghibran scoring the music.

Meanwhile, National Award-winning actor Vikram will soon be looking to complete the remaining portions on his spy action thriller, Dhruva Natchathiram, under Gautham Menon’s direction.

He’s also working on Saamy Square being helmed by director Hari with Keerthy Suresh as the female lead.

Vikram also has in his lineup the 300 crore historical epic Mahavir Karna under R. S. Vimal's direction, which will roll into production in October this year with a eye on a Christmas 2019 release.

It must be noted his recently released Sketch has also turned out to be a success.

With so much going on, there has been some debate as to how Vikram will be managing his work schedule for the film being produced by Kamal Haasan.

As per reports, Vikram will be starting shoot on Rajesh Selva’s film soon once he wraps up filming Saamy Square, which at this point is eyeing an Eid release date. Apparently, his plan is to complete Saamy 2 and Dhruva Natchathiram before heading into production of Mahavir Karna.

It sure is a good time to be a Vikram fan as the star will not keep his fans waiting long this time.
