Regarding the release of the three prisoners related to the former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's assassination, directors Cheran and Gowthaman have thanked our Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha. The directors had sent a joint letter thanking the CM for releasing the prisoners the next day after the judgment was announced.
He also expressed their gratitude on behalf of one of the prisoner's mother, elaborating the struggles that she faced for 23 years to bring her son out of jail.
