Jaganmohini/ Jagan Mohini is releasing on Diwali day and director N.K. Vishwanath has every reason to feel excited. Can Namitha do one better than Jayamalini of the original is the challenge facing him right from the day he began the movie.

Vishwanath said he took to direction under compelling circumstances but is enjoying the job to the hilt. “It was in deference to the wishes of Kamal Haasan that I began direction to finish the unfinished project of Sankarlal when director T.N. Balu died midway through the shoot. Now I am 12 films old as a director. The success of Jaganmohini will have a bearing on my future projects,” said the director with the who insists that the camera is still his first love.
