Suriya has a busy year ahead with films namely NGK under Selvaraghavan's direction in which he will be seen as a farmer amidst a political backdrop and then in Kaappaan under KV Anand's direction where he will be seen as a Special Protection Group officer.

The actor is also attached to Suriya 38 under Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara's direction being produced by 2D Entertainment while there are also speculations that he will be teaming up with director Siva of the recent Viswasam fame under the Studio Green banner.

Likewise, Suriya's brother Karthi too will next be seen in the newly announced Kaithi to be directed by Maanagaram fame Lokesh Kanagaraj under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner with music by Sam CS after being recently seen in the romantic action thriller film, Dev, released last month.
