Press meets are always filled with controversial and angered statements. The recent one with Bharathiraja was no different as the veteran director shared his views without feeling regret of any sort.

“We as Tamils are losing our identity on a National level and everyone is going backwards scared to move forward. I feel we have lost our backbone in supporting people from other states and hardly doing something for our own kind. The greatest history Tamils had is slowly fading out,” said Bharathiraja.
