His directional debut with Sethu has been a path breaking phase for Vikram and himself. He rose sky high with his other films like Nandha, Pithamagan, Naan Kadavul, Avan Ivan. Paradesi. With loads of appreciation pouring in, Bala has bagged several National and Filmfare awards. He is known for revolutionizing Tamil cinema to a different level.
His upcoming untitled project with Vikram again is still in the pre-production stage.
