Sri Rajalakshmi Films’ Ayyanar, produced by P.L. Thenappan and directed by newcomer Film Institute product Rajamithran, has Aadhi (of Mirugam and Eeram fame) and Meera Nandhan (of Vaalmiki fame) in the lead roles. The film has Aadhi playing his first mass hero role. Ayyanar revolves around a youngster and his love for his mother. The story begins in a village and soon moves to the city. The film, which is said to be an action-packed entertainer, will also have a comedy track by Santhanam. Music compose by Thaman S. Ghantasala was released by Think Music.
Aridhu Aridhu, starring Harish and Uttara Raj in the lead roles, is produced by by Jaya Krishnan under the banner JK Creations. The film is directed by debutant K.R. Mathivanan, a long time assistant of director Shankar. Music composed by Thaman S. has been released under Fivestar Audios label.
