Boomerang is an upcoming social drama directed by R.Kannan and it is bankrolled by himself in his Masala Pix production company. The film stars Atharvaa Murali, Megha Akash, Sathish, RJ Balaji and Indhuja in lead roles. The trailer which released a couple of months back got good reception on YouTube. Initially, the makers locked 21st December as the release date of the movie. But now, it has been confirmed that Boomerang will hit the silver screens on 28th December, along with G.V.Prakash’s Sarvam Thaala Mayam. The reason for the postponement is said to be the shortage of screens as many biggies are lined up to release for the long Christmas weekend like Dhanush’s Maari 2, Vijay Sethupathi’s Seethakaathi, Jayam Ravi’s Adanga Maru and Yash’s KGF.
