The sequel of Venkat Prabhu's Chennai 28 is currently underway in Thenkasi. The film is produced by Prabhu's Black Ticket Company, and will feature an ensemble cast of Jai, Shiva, Mahat, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, Nithin Satya, Vijayalakshmi, and Vaibhav. The latest is that the team is trying to rope in ace cricketers Ashwin and Murali Vijay in a cameo.
Another interesting factor is grandson of legendary actors Gemini Ganesan and Savitri, Abhinay Vaddi will be seen as the main antagonist in the second innings. Abhinay played the role of math wizard Srinivasa Ramanujan in the biopic Ramanujan.
