Actor and producer Arun Pandian is going to remake Soodhu Kavvum directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and having Vijay Sethupathy in the lead, in Malayalam. The cast and crew of the Malayalam version are yet to be finalized. In the meantime, this film will also be remade in Hindi by Rohit Shetty of Chennai Express fame. Imran Khan will be playing the lead. The film falls under the genre of 'Black Comedy'. To add to all of this the film has also been selected to be screened at the Kerala Film Festival and Mumbai Film Festival.
