Archana Kavi impresses Vasanthabalan
Guess how the Mollywood beauty Archana Kavi impress critically acclaimed director Vasanthabalan? Well, she has dubbed in her own voice, that too in typical old Madurai lingo, for their upcoming epic film Aravaan. The film also has Aadhi, Pasupathy and Dhaniska in lead roles. Aravaan, set in the mid 18th century, is the story of an ordinary man with an extraordinary talent. Aravaan is based on one of the many stories that were part of 'Kaavalkottam' (a collection of novels penned by Su. Venkatesan).
Aravaans are security guards named after Aravaan, the son of Arjuna, who sacrificed himself before Goddess Kali for the victory of the Pandavas in the Kurukshetra war in Mahabharata. The story revolves around one such Aravaan.
