The Lion King got released on the 19th of July, and opened to maximum numbers of positive reviews, especially in Tamil. With Arvind Swami voicing for Scar, Siddharth voicing for adult Simba, Aishwarya Rajessh for Nala, P Ravishankar for Mufasa, Manobala for Zazu, Singampuli for Timon and Robo Shankar for Pumba, the reports read that the audiences were pleased and satisfied with the voice cast and the dubbed dialogues, penned by Madhan Karky. A number of theatres have increased the show numbers. On this note, Archana Kalpathi officially announced on the same and wrote, "Incredible numbers by Lion King in Tamil.
