Music maestro AR Rahman launched lyricist Madhan Karky's new initiative DooPaaDoo, a platform for independent musicians, in Chennai. Through DooPaadoo, the team hopes to encourage independent music. The event was graced by a number of music director and singers from Kollywood. The launch was made memorable with the launch of legend MS Vishwanathanan's exclusive album called 'Engae Undhdhan Harmonium'.
DooPaaDoo already has a collection of invaluable songs from composers like AR Rahman, Santhosh Narayanan, Anirudh, Imman and many other musicians on the list. Through Doopaadoo, the team hopes to revive the music industry from its current situation of being entirely film-centric.
