Aparna proves her talent

Playing mother of two on screen is challenging even for seasoned artistes. But young Aparna Pillai has pulled it off with success in the just-released Kannukulle directed by Lena Moovendar. How did she manage to convincingly enact the difficult role of managing two children with a wayward husband who has dumped his wife in favour of another woman?

Naturaly, Aparna banked on the inputs of her mother and the director, who stressed on the importance of appropriate body language. “Do not try too hard, but react as you would if such a thing happened to you in real life,” was the director's advice, she revealed.

Aparna now looks forward to her next release Eezha Kanavugal depicting the lives of Tamils in Sri Lanka.
