Anuradha Sriram croons for brother Murugan Mohan!

One of Tamil cinema's latest entrants is Murugan Mohan, the musical mind behind the soon-to-releaseEthirmarai. Produced and directed by debutant G. Arun, the movie has been making news for the advanced technology that has gone into its making. Digital cinema is common terminology, but not yet a common practice.

Ethirmarai boasts of using the technical superiority of two high-end digital cameras – the Red camera and the Phantom camera. That aside, the story is also quite intriguing. It follows a CBI officer and his investigation into a series of murders till he eventually finds that the casehas something to do with himself. In such a psychological thriller, music is not just in the background – it becomes one of the key characters that brings on the thrills.

This Hungary-returned classically-trained musician is the brother of singer Anuradha Sriram. In a new attempt, for the audio launch, the team of Ethirmarai recently toured Tamil Nadu in a specially-made glass bus with stills of the movie and five fans. Interestingly, Anuradha Sriram has rendered a song for her brother in this film.
