Composer Anirudh Ravichander is one of the most popular names in the Tamil film industry.
The young music director recently also made inroads into the Telugu film industry with the Pawan Kalyan, Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel starrer, Agnyaathavaasi.
Anirudh is at present riding high after announcement came earlier this month that he would be scoring the music for 'Superstar' Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, tentatively being called Thalaivar 165, to be directed by Karthik Subbaraj under the Sun Pictures banner.
That being said, Anirudh’s name has been mired in a controversy for the past two days after pictures from a photoshoot went viral on social networking forums.
Many assumed one of the models in the said photoshoot was Anirudh himself as a woman and draped in a saree with makeup and jewelry. Many were left bewildered as to whether the person in debate was indeed him.
Meanwhile, it has now been revealed that the person in the photoshoot is not Anirudh, but a model named Shaano. When one of the fans queried her on Instagram if the person in the picture was indeed her, she gave a crystal clear reply saying, "yes it's me".
That ought to put a rest to all the confusion that had surfaced over the past couple of days.
Meanwhile, Anirudh also has to his lineup next the Nayanthara starrer, Kolamaavu Kokila.
