Actress Amala Paul enjoys a strong fan following in south India and went on to deliver a praiseworthy performance in the action thriller, Ratsasan, opposite Vishnu Vishal with the film going on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of 2018.

Meanwhile, the Telugu remake of Ratsasan titled Rakshasudu is currently in development and nearing completion with actress Anupama Parameswaran portraying Amala Paul’s role under Ramesh Varma’s direction.

Recently, a popular Telugu film news website had published an article about Amala Paul stating she was critical of Rakshasudu’s lead hero, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and that he would not be able to recreate what Vishnu Vishal had done in Ratsasan.

That said, Amala Paul has now addressed the news and has cleared the controversy on her Twitter page saying, "This is a classic example of 'I did not say that'. The thin line between bullshit and gossip is invisible to your eyes!"

As for her upcoming projects, Amala Paul will next be seen in Tamil films namely Adho Andha Paravai Pola and Aadai, the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual, Cadaver, Aadujeevitham in Malayalam featuring music by A. R. Rahman and a few other ventures.
