Amala Paul’s Aadai has been the talk of the town ever since the film’s first look poster was unveiled last year to an astounding response from fans. The film, which has been a much-awaited venture, was certified with an ‘A’ certificate by the Censor Board not long back and has generated massive curiosity after the release of its bold teaser and the intense trailer. Directed by Rathna Kumar, the Meyaadha Maan director has now dropped an important update on his Twitter space to say legendary veteran singer P. Susheela has sung a devotional song in Aadai. He further went on to add that she had previously sung the same song 70 years back and is crooning it once again while labeling the metallic devotional track composed jointly by composer Pradeep Kumar and the band Oorka as “Bakthi Metal”.

Aadai is gearing up for its theatrical release on July 19 amidst tremendous excitement, which has been clearly been visible of late after the release of the teaser and trailer. Director Rathna Kumar too has often reiterated that Amala Paul's role is tailor-made for her while adding the film is going to be “arrogant, audacious and artistic”. Produced by Viji Subramaniam under the V Studios banner with music by Pradeep Kumar, Aadai includes Vivek Prasanna and popular VJ Ramya Subramanian in supporting roles.
