Actress Amala who rose to fame with films like Mella Thirandhadhu Kadhavu, was recently at Trivandrum to attend an event that aims at the effective adoption of rescued animals. The actress stated that they have 6 Indian dogs and one Labrador at home. She said that the lab meant so much to her son that they are spending around Rs. 25000 every month to take good care of it.

The Labrador has been loyal to the family and once helped them in chasing away drunkards who were present at the house claiming that they have an appointment at 2.00 in the morning.
