Gearing up for a huge release on August 8 is the ‘Thala’ Ajith starrer, Nerkonda Paarvai directed by H. Vinoth and is an official remake of the smash hit Bollywood film, Pink, which had Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. Actress Vidya Balan has been paired opposite Ajith in the film and has left fans excited despite visuals of her not being released till date. With Nerkonda Paarvai set to hit theatres in a few days, Vidya Balan has now announced on her Instagram page that she has acted in a short film for the first time in her acting career while also turning co-producer for the project. Titled Natkhat, the Hindi short film has been directed by Shaan Vyas with Ronnie Screwvala serving as the producer and cinematography by Sachin Pillai. Vidya Balan will also be seen in the much-awaited multi-starrer Bollywood biggie, Mission Mangal, which has names like Akshay Kumar, Nithya Menen, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu among others and is hitting theatres on August 15 as an Independence Day release. As for Nerkonda Paarvai produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP banner, the film with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has massive expectations surrounding it as the film is a courtroom drama and Ajith fans await the superstar to deliver yet another intense and memorable performance. Apart from Ajith and Vidya Balan, the film also includes Shraddha Srinath, Abirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Adhik Ravichandran, Rangaraj Pandey, KK Menon, Kalki Koechlin in major supporting roles.
