Earlier to Petta, as well know, Karthik Subbaraj was supposed to make a movie with Dhanush, but the project was kept on hold because back then Karthik had planned to rope in Hollywood star Al Pacino, but in vain. Now that the project has resurfaced and brought back to life and it was announced to you by us that the filming of this untitled flick will commence in August 2019, at London. Now, a little birdie in the industry have informed us that Malayalam actor Aishwarya Lekshmi would be seen as the female lead in this movie.

It was also said that Karthiik Subbaraj has retained a technician, cinematographer Thirunavukarasu, whom he has earlier worked with in Mercury and Petta. We shall await the official announcement regarding the same in a few days. The movie is touted to be bankrolled by Sashikanth under the banner Y NOT Studios and the first schedule will last for 60 long days.
Aishwarya Lekshmi debuted in Malayalam cinema with Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela alongside Nivin Pauly, followed by movies alongside actors Tovino Thomas, Fahad Fazil, Asif Ali and Kalidas Jayaram. Her upcoming movie in Malayalam is Brother's Day with Prithviraj Sukumaran.
